In Thursday's league game, the visiting Kelso Hilanders baseball team scored a close 6-1 victory over the Evergreen Plainsmen.
The Hilanders (13-2) will now prepare for their game against Mountain View (Vancouver, WA). The Thunder enter the 3A Greater St. Helens game with a 5-9 record. In their last game, Mountain View was overwhelmed by King's Way Christian (Vancouver, WA), 6-3, in a non-league game.
Next, the Plainsmen face the Hudson's Bay Eagles (Vancouver, WA) in a non-league game, on Thursday, April 24. Evergreen will attempt to improve on its 5-8 season record.
