The crowd at Thursday's league battle between the Ferris Saxons (Spokane, WA) and the host Lewis & Clark Tigers (Spokane, WA), saw Ferris's baseball team get by Lewis & Clark by a tally of 4-3.

The Saxons (2-10) will now prepare for their battle against Mead (Spokane, WA). The Panthers enter the 2A/3A/4A Greater Spokane battle with a 2-10 record. In their last battle, Mead held off Cheney (Cheney, WA), 5-4, in a league battle.

Next, the Tigers face the Gonzaga Prep Bullpups (Spokane, WA) in a 2A/3A/4A Greater Spokane battle, on Saturday, April 19. Lewis & Clark will attempt to upgrade on its 4-8 season record. The Bullpups enter the battle with a 10-3 record after their 15-8 league loss to Central Valley (Spokane Valley, WA).
