Indiana High School Baseball - Frontier edges North Newton

The Frontier Falcons baseball team scored 6 runs and held the visiting North Newton Spartans to 3 in the Falcons league win on Thursday.

The Falcons now hold a 3-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to Peru for a non-league test on Saturday, April 19. Frontier will play a Tigers team coming off a 9-4 non-league loss to Huntington North (Huntington, IN). The Tigers record now stands at 1-3.

With the defeat, North Newton drops to 1-5 on the year. The Spartans host Benton Central (Oxford, IN) to play the Bison in a non-league test on Monday, April 21. The Bison go into the test with a record of 1-6. Benton Central lost 12-2 in their recent non-league test against Rossville (Rossville, IN)
