The crowd at Thursday's league battle between the Lakes Eagles (Lake Villa, IL) and the host Grayslake North Knights (Grayslake, IL), saw Lakes's baseball team beat Grayslake North by a margin of 9-6.

The Eagles (10-4) will now prepare for their battle against Round Lake (Round Lake, IL). The Panthers enter the Northern Lake County battle with a 2-10 record. In their last battle, Round Lake held off Larkin (Elgin, IL), 2-0, in a non-league battle.

Next, the Knights face the Crystal Lake South Gators (Crystal Lake, IL) in a non-league battle, on Saturday, April 19. Grayslake North will attempt to improve on its 2-12 season record. The Gators enter the battle with a 9-5 record after their 4-2 league win over Central (Burlington, IL).
