The crowd at Thursday's league battle between the South Caldwell Spartans (Hudson, NC) and the visiting Hibriten Panthers (Lenoir, NC), saw South Caldwell's baseball team beat Hibriten by a margin of 7-0.
The Spartans (19-1) will now prepare for their battle against Middle Township (Cape May Court House, NJ). The Panthers enter the non-league battle with a 9-1 record.
Next, the Panthers face the Alexander Central Cougars (Taylorsville, NC) in a non-league battle, on Monday, April 21. Hibriten will attempt to improve on its 11-8 season record. The Cougars enter the battle with a 12-8 record after their 6-1 league win over Freedom (Morganton, NC).
