The Mountaineers now own a 2-2 record. They take the field next when they host Negaunee for a non-league challenge on Monday, April 21.
With the defeat, L'Anse drops to 0-2 on the year. The Purple hornets travel to Wright (Ironwood, MI) to clash with the Red Devils in a Copper Mountain challenge on Friday, May 9. The Red Devils go into the challenge with a record of 2-4.
