The crowd at Thursday's league battle between the Little Cypress-Mauriceville Bears (Orange, TX) and the host Jasper Bulldogs (Jasper, TX), saw Little Cypress-Mauriceville's baseball team gain a win over Jasper by a tally of 10-1.

The Bears (22-5) will now prepare for their battle against Bridge City (Bridge City, TX). The Cardinals enter the 4A Region III District 18 battle with a 19-2 record. In their last battle, Bridge City prevailed over Jasper (Jasper, TX), 7-1, in a league battle.

Next, the Bulldogs face the West Orange-Stark Mustangs (Orange, TX) in a 4A Region III District 18 battle, on Tuesday, April 22. Jasper will attempt to upgrade on its 6-16 season record. The Mustangs enter the battle with a 2-18 record after their 20-1 league loss to Silsbee (Silsbee, TX).
