In Thursday's league game, the host John Jay Patriots baseball team scored a close 7-6 win over the Suffern Mounties.

The Patriots (6-0) will now prepare for their game against Clarkstown South (West Nyack, NY). The Vikings go into the non-league game with a 6-2 record. In their last game, Clarkstown South nudged Nyack (Upper Nyack, NY), 8-1, in a non-league game.
