Texas High School Baseball - Johnson defeats Steele

In Thursday's league game, the host Johnson Jaguars baseball team scored a close 7-2 win over the Steele Knights.
The Jaguars (19-7) will now prepare for their game against San Marcos (San Marcos, TX). The Rattlers go into the 6A Region IV District 29 game with a 20-7 record. In their last game, San Marcos nudged Canyon (New Braunfels, TX), 8-6, in a league game.
Next, the Knights play the Clemens Buffaloes (Schertz, TX) in a 6A Region IV District 29 game, on Tuesday, April 22. Steele will attempt to improve on its 14-9 season record. The Buffaloes go into the game with a 22-5 record after their 10-0 league win over Judson (Converse, TX).
