North Carolina High School Baseball - Lexington loses to North Rowan

April 17, 2025: Spencer, NC 28159

North Rowan Cavaliers (Spencer, NC) fans left the game pleased Thursday as they observed their baseball squad achieve victory over the visiting Lexington Yellowjackets (Lexington, NC), 17-12 in a league match.

With the triumph, North Rowan advances its record to 4-11 on the season. The Cavaliers host Salisbury (Salisbury, NC) to battle the Hornets in a Central Carolina 1A/2A match on Wednesday, April 23. The Hornets come into the match with a record of 6-15. Salisbury lost 8-4 in their recent non-league match against Atkins (Winston-Salem, NC)

The Yellowjackets now have a 2-14 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Thomasville for a Central Carolina 1A/2A match on Wednesday, April 23. Lexington will battle a Bulldogs team coming off a 14-1 league loss to East Davidson (Thomasville, NC). The Bulldogs record now stands at 9-11.
