Pennsylvania High School Baseball - Williams Valley edges Marian Catholic

The Williams Valley Vikings baseball team scored 14 runs and held the host Marian Catholic to 11 in the Vikings league win on Thursday.

The Vikings now hold a 5-6 record. They take the field next when they host Mahanoy Area for a Schuylkill County 2 test on Monday, April 21. Williams Valley will play a Golden Bears team coming off a 15-3 league loss to Minersville (Minersville, PA). The Golden Bears record now stands at 2-8.

With the defeat, Marian Catholic drops to 5-7 on the year. The travel to Nativity BVM (Pottsville, PA) to play the Green Wave in a Schuylkill County 2 test on Monday, April 21. The Green Wave go into the test with a record of 3-8. Nativity BVM lost 9-5 in their recent league test against Schuylkill Haven (Schuylkill Haven, PA)
