The Marquette Redmen (Marquette, MI) baseball trounced the host Menominee Maroons (Menominee, MI), 10-3 in Thursday's league challenge.
The Redmen now own a 1-1 record. They take the field next when they host Houghton for a non-league challenge on Saturday, April 19.
With the defeat, Menominee drops to 1-3 on the year. The Maroons travel to Escanaba (Escanaba, MI) to clash with the Eskymos in a Great Northern U.P. challenge on Monday, April 21. The Eskymos go into the challenge with a record of 2-0.
