In Thursday's league game, the visiting Reno Huskies baseball team scored a close 4-3 win over the McQueen Lancers.

The Huskies (19-9) will now prepare for their game against Spanish Springs (Sparks, NV). The Cougars go into the 5A Northern game with a 16-8 record. In their last game, Spanish Springs nudged Damonte Ranch (Reno, NV), 6-4, in a league game.

Next, the Lancers play the Galena Grizzlies (Reno, NV) in a 5A Northern game, on Saturday, April 19. McQueen will attempt to improve on its 11-12 season record. The Grizzlies go into the game with a 10-9 record after their 8-6 league loss to Reed (Sparks, NV).
