The crowd at Thursday's league battle between the Stevens Point Panthers (Stevens Point, WI) and the host Merrill Bluejays (Merrill, WI), saw Stevens Point's baseball team gain a win over Merrill by a tally of 13-7.
The Panthers (3-2) will now prepare for their battle against Watertown (Watertown, WI). The Goslings enter the non-league battle with a 4-1 record. In their last battle, Watertown held off Waunakee (Waunakee, WI), 7-0, in a league battle.
Next, the Bluejays face the Lakeland Thunderbirds (Minocqua, WI) in a Great Northern battle, on Saturday, April 19. Merrill will attempt to upgrade on its 0-4 season record. The Thunderbirds enter the battle with a 1-5 record after their 15-5 league loss to Antigo (Antigo, WI).
