Ohio High School Baseball - Whetstone holds off Mifflin

The Whetstone Braves baseball team scored 7 runs and held the host Mifflin Punchers to 3 in the Braves league win on Thursday.

The Braves now hold a 10-3 record. They take the field next when they travel to Thomas Worthington for a non-league test on Saturday, April 19. Whetstone will play a CARDINALS team coming off a 13-0 non-league loss to Hubbard (Hubbard, OH). The CARDINALS record now stands at 4-5.

With the defeat, Mifflin drops to 6-4 on the year. The Punchers travel to Centerburg (Centerburg, OH) to play the Trojans in a non-league test on Friday, April 18. The Trojans go into the test with a record of 6-4. Centerburg lost 12-8 in their recent non-league test against Worthington Christian (Worthington, OH)
