The Tohatchi Cougars (Tohatchi, NM) baseball trounced the host Northwest Falcons (Shiprock, NM), 10-2 in Thursday's non-league challenge.
The Cougars now own a 12-6 record. They take the field next when they travel to Bosque for a non-league challenge on Saturday, April 19. Tohatchi will clash with a Bobcats team coming off a 19-5 league loss to Ruidoso (Ruidoso, NM). The Bobcats record now stands at 1-13.
With the defeat, Northwest drops to 3-10 on the year. The Falcons host Navajo Pine (Navajo, NM) to play the Warriors in a non-league test on Wednesday, April 23. The Warriors go into the test with a record of 1-13. Navajo Pine lost 18-8 in their recent non-league test against Wingate (Fort Wingate, NM)
