Kentucky High School Baseball - Rockcastle County held off by Southwestern

Southwestern Warriors (Somerset, KY) followers left the game satisfied Thursday as they observed their baseball squad overcome the host Rockcastle County Rockets (Mt. Vernon, KY), 8-6 in a non-league match.

With the triumph, Southwestern moves its record to 6-8 on the season. The Warriors travel to Clay County (Manchester, KY) to confront the Tigers in a non-league match on Friday, April 18. The Tigers come into the match with a record of 10-6. Clay County won 3-1 in their recent non-league match against Leslie County (Hyden, KY)

The Rockets now possess a 5-8 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to South Laurel for a non-league match on Friday, April 18. Rockcastle County will confront a Cardinals squad coming off a 2-1 non-league win over Jackson County (McKee, KY). The Cardinals record now stands at 12-1.
