North Carolina High School Baseball - Union Academy prevails South Stanly

The Union Academy Cardinals (Monroe, NC) baseball trounced the visiting South Stanly Rowdy Rebel Bulls (Norwood, NC), 9-0 in Thursday's league challenge.
The Cardinals now own a 7-12 record. They take the field next when they host Corvian Community for a non-league challenge on Monday, April 21. Union Academy will clash with a Cardinals team coming off a 8-0 league loss to Christ the King (Huntersville, NC). The Cardinals record now stands at 9-11.
With the defeat, South Stanly drops to 15-5 on the year. The Rowdy rebel bulls travel to Cherryville (Cherryville, NC) to clash with the Ironmen in a non-league challenge on Monday, April 21. The Ironmen go into the challenge with a record of 14-5. Cherryville won 10-0 in their recent league challenge against Bessemer City (Bessemer City, NC)
