In Thursday's league challenge, the host Valencia Vikings volleyball team scored a 2-0 triumph over the Canyon Cowboys.
The Vikings (22-9) will now prepare for their challenge against Golden Valley (Santa Clarita, CA). The Grizzlies come into the challenge with a 5-4 record. In their last challenge, Golden Valley beat Highland (Palmdale, CA), 2-0, in a non-league challenge.
Next, the Cowboys play the Castaic Coyotes (Castaic, CA) in a challenge, on Tuesday, April 22. Canyon will attempt to upgrade on its 1-5 season record. The Coyotes come into the challenge with a 17-13 record after their 2-1 league win over Hart (Newhall, CA).
