In Thursday's league challenge, the host Lincoln Hornets volleyball team scored a close 2-1 triumph over the Point Loma Pointers.

The Hornets (4-4) will now prepare for their challenge against Christian (El Cajon, CA). The Patriots come into the challenge with a 10-12 record. In their last challenge, Christian edged Crawford (San Diego, CA), 2-0, in a league challenge.

Next, the Pointers meet the Oceanside Pirates (Oceanside, CA) in a non-league challenge, on Monday, April 21. Point Loma will attempt to upgrade on its 3-8 season record. The Pirates come into the challenge with a 6-7 record after their 2-1 league loss to El Camino (Oceanside, CA).
