In Thursday's non-league game, the host Eaton Reds baseball team scored a close 3-0 win over the Roosevelt Roughriders.
The Reds (3-3) will now prepare for their game against Wellington (Wellington, CO). The Eagles go into the non-league game with a 1-1 record. In their last game, Wellington nudged Greeley West (Greeley, CO), 18-3, in a non-league game.
Next, the Roughriders play the Severance Silver Knights (Severance, CO) in a non-league game, on Saturday, April 26. Roosevelt will attempt to improve on its 3-4 season record.
