Virginia High School Soccer - Glenvar knocks off Northside

The Glenvar Highlanders soccer squad scored 8 points and held the visiting Northside Vikings to 0 in the Highlanders non-league victory on Thursday.
The Highlanders now hold a 6-2 record. They play next when they travel to Alleghany for a Three Rivers bout on Monday, April 21. Glenvar will play a Cougars squad coming off a 3-0 non-league loss to Stuarts Draft (Stuarts Draft, VA). The Cougars record now stands at 0-8.
With the loss, Northside moves to 2-6 on the year. The Vikings host Lord Botetourt (Daleville, VA) to play the Cavaliers in a Blue Ridge bout on Tuesday, April 22. The Cavaliers go into the bout with a record of 2-4. Lord Botetourt won 8-0 in their recent league bout against Fleming (Roanoke, VA)
