Fans at Thursday's league battle between the Pike Road Patriots (Pike Road, AL) and the visiting Russell County Warriors (Seale, AL), saw Pike Road's soccer squad triumph over Russell County by a count of 8-2.

The Patriots (15-6) will now prepare for their battle against Indian Springs (Pelham, AL). The Student enter the non-league battle with a 9-3 record. In their last battle, Indian Springs tipped Montevallo (Montevallo, AL), 6-0, in a league battle.

Next up, the Warriors battle the Central Red Devils (Phenix City, AL) in a non-league battle, on Tuesday, April 22. Russell County will attempt to upgrade on its 5-7 season record. The Red Devils enter the battle with a 6-11 record after their 11-1 league loss to Auburn (Auburn, AL).
