Fans at Thursday's league battle between the Eastside Eagles (Taylors, SC) and the host Spartanburg Vikings (Spartanburg, SC), saw Eastside's soccer squad knock off Spartanburg by a score of 4-1.
The Eagles (11-2) will now prepare for their battle against Wade Hampton (Greenville, SC). The Generals enter the battle with a 8-5 record. In their last battle, Wade Hampton by Riverside (Greer, SC), 4-2, in a non-league battle.
Next up, the Vikings confront the James F. Byrnes Rebels (Duncan, SC) in a non-league battle, on Monday, April 21. Spartanburg will attempt to improve on its 5-11 season record. The Rebels enter the battle with a 10-5 record after their 2-1 non-league loss to Dorman (Roebuck, SC).
