Pennsylvania High School Softball - Altoona bested by State College

The State College Little Lions triumphed over the host Altoona Mountain Lions softball squad by a count of 19-8 in Thursday's non-league challenge.

Next, the Little Lions meet the Mifflin County Huskies (Lewistown, PA) in a non-league challenge, on Monday, April 21. State College will attempt to upgrade on its 3-2 season record. The Huskies enter the challenge with a 1-3 record after their 14-1 non-league loss to Central Dauphin (Harrisburg, PA).

The Mountain Lions (1-2) will now prepare for their challenge against Mechanicsburg (Mechanicsburg, PA). The Wildcats enter the non-league challenge with a 6-1 record. In their last challenge, Mechanicsburg overcame Cedar Cliff (Camp Hill, PA), 26-4, in a non-league challenge.
