In Thursday's non-league match, the host Crimson Cliffs Mustangs softball team scored a tight 13-9 win over the Pine View Panthers.
The Mustangs (10-3) will now prepare for their match against Dixie (St. George, UT). The Flyers come into the non-league match with a 2-8 record. In their last match, Dixie was routed by Hurricane (Hurricane, UT), 14-3, in a non-league match.
In their next game, the Panthers battle the Hurricane Tigers (Hurricane, UT) in a non-league match, on Tuesday, April 22. Pine View will attempt to better on its 2-9 season record. The Tigers come into the match with a 5-11 record after their 14-3 non-league win over Dixie (St. George, UT).
