The Catoctin Cougars lacrosse squad scored 9 points and limited the visiting Walkersville Lions to 8 in the Cougars non-league triumph on Thursday.

The Cougars now own a 7-2 record. They take the field next when they host Middletown for a CMC challenge on Tuesday, April 22. Catoctin will clash with a Knights squad coming off a 16-0 league win over Frederick (Frederick, MD). The Knights record now stands at 3-2.

With the loss, Walkersville falls to 6-2 on the year. The Lions host Boonsboro (Boonsboro, MD) to clash with the Warriors in a CMC challenge on Tuesday, April 22. The Warriors go into the challenge with a record of 4-3. Boonsboro won 12-11 in their recent non-league challenge against Liberty (Sykesville, MD)
