The Porter-Gaud Cyclones lacrosse squad scored 13 points and limited the host Hammond Skyhawks to 3 in the Cyclones non-league triumph on Thursday.

The Cyclones now own a 10-7 record. They take the field next when they host Camden Military for a non-league challenge on Tuesday, April 22. Porter-Gaud will clash with a Spartans squad coming off a 15-6 non-league loss to Legion Collegiate Academy (Rock Hill, SC). The Spartans record now stands at 2-9.

With the loss, Hammond falls to 7-5 on the year. The Skyhawks host Heathwood Hall Episcopal (Columbia, SC) to clash with the Highlanders in a SCISA AAA Region I challenge on Friday, April 25. The Highlanders go into the challenge with a record of 7-4. Heathwood Hall Episcopal won 19-4 in their recent non-league challenge against Camden Military (Camden, SC)
