South-Doyle Cherokees (Knoxville, TN) backers exited the stadium pleased Thursday as they witnessed their soccer team triumph over the visiting Alcoa Tornadoes (Alcoa, TN), 6-0 in a league test.

With the triumph, South-Doyle advances its record to 10-1 on the campaign. The Cherokees travel to Lenoir City (Lenoir City, TN) to clash with the Panthers in a AA District 5 test on Tuesday, April 22. The Panthers come into the test with a record of 4-6. Lenoir City lost 3-1 in their recent non-league test against Walker Valley (Cleveland, TN)

The Tornadoes now have a 4-7 record. They take the field next when they travel to Maryville for a non-league test on Tuesday, April 22. Alcoa will clash with a Red Rebels team coming off a 4-0 league loss to Bearden (Knoxville, TN). The Red Rebels record now stands at 8-6.
