In Thursday's league contest, the First Presbyterian Academy at Shannon Forest Crusaders (Greenville, SC) soccer team edged the host Spartanburg Day Griffins (Spartanburg, SC), by a tally of 1-0.
Next, the Crusaders face the GREEN Upstate Owls (Simpsonville, SC) in a non-league contest, on Tuesday, April 22. First Presbyterian Academy at Shannon Forest will attempt to advance on its 1-4 season record. The Owls enter the contest with a 10-4 record after their 1-0 league loss to Dixie (Due West, SC).
The Griffins (6-2) will now prepare for their contest against Spartanburg Christian Academy (Spartanburg, SC). The Warriors enter the SCISA AAA Region III contest with a 0-2 record. In their last contest, Spartanburg Christian Academy was nipped by Greenwood Christian (Greenwood, SC), 7-0, in a league contest.
