Illinois High School Softball - Stark County bounces Abingdon/Avon

April 17, 2025: Abingdon, IL 61410

In Thursday's league match, the visiting Stark County Rebels softball team scored a nice 8-0 win over the Abingdon/Avon Tornadoes.

The Rebels (5-6) will now prepare for their match against Knoxville (Knoxville, IL). The Blue Bullets come into the Lincoln Trail match with a 6-5 record. In their last match, Knoxville notched a victory over Princeville (Princeville, IL), 13-3, in a league match.

In their next game, the Tornadoes confront the Illini Bluffs Tigers (Glasford, IL) in a Inter County match, on Monday, April 21. Abingdon/Avon will attempt to better on its 4-7 season record. The Tigers come into the match with a 8-4 record after their 10-0 league win over Athens/Greenview (Athens, IL).
