Virginia High School Softball - Albemarle succumbs to Monticello

April 17, 2025: Charlottesville, VA 22902

In Thursday's league test, the Monticello Mustangs (Charlottesville, VA) softball squad overwhelmed the visiting Albemarle Patriots (Charlottesville, VA), by a tally of 17-0.

Next, the Mustangs clash with the Western Albemarle Warriors (Crozet, VA) in a Jefferson test, on Tuesday, April 22. Monticello will attempt to advance on its 8-1 season record. The Warriors go into the test with a 5-1 record after their 9-8 league win over Goochland (Goochland, VA).

The Patriots (1-5) will now prepare for their test against Charlottesville (Charlottesville, VA). The Black Knights go into the Jefferson test with a 0-4 record.
