The Batavia Bulldogs softball squad (Batavia, IL), was routed 17-6 in Thursday's league contest with the visiting Lake Park Lancers (Roselle, IL)
With the triumph, Lake Park improves its record to 10-2 on the year. The Lancers travel to St. Charles East (St. Charles, IL) to face the Fighting Saints in a DuKane contest on Wednesday, April 23. The Fighting Saints enter the contest with a record of 9-7.
The Bulldogs now hold a 1-9 record. They play next when they host Newark for a non-league contest on Friday, April 18. Batavia will face a Norsemen squad coming off a 14-9 non-league loss to Herscher (Herscher, IL). The Norsemen record now stands at 8-8.
