The Brewster Bears the host Omak Pioneers softball squad by a count of 16-12 in Thursday's non-league challenge.
Next, the Bears meet the Chelan Mountain Goats (Chelan, WA) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, April 19. Brewster will attempt to upgrade on its 7-3 season record. The Mountain Goats go into the challenge with a 4-8 record after their 10-9 non-league win over Okanogan (Okanogan, WA).
The Pioneers (2-8) will now prepare for their challenge against Cascade (Leavenworth, WA). The Kodiaks go into the 1A Caribou Trail challenge with a 1-8 record. In their last bout, Cascade was routed by Omak (Omak, WA), 14-4, in a league bout.
