In Thursday's non-league match, the visiting Glastonbury Guardians softball team scored a tight 14-8 victory over the Bristol Central Rams.

The Guardians (1-4) will now prepare for their match against New Canaan (New Canaan, CT). The Rams go into the non-league match with a 3-0 record. In their last match, New Canaan tipped Danbury (Danbury, CT), 10-3, in a league match.

In their next game, the Rams battle the Platt Panthers (Meriden, CT) in a Central Connecticut - South match, on Monday, April 21. Bristol Central will attempt to better on its 1-5 season record. The Panthers go into the match with a 1-2 record after their 14-1 non-league loss to East Catholic (Manchester, CT).
