California High School Softball - Sultana bounces Burroughs

April 17, 2025: Hesperia, CA 92345

The crowd at Thursday's league bout between the Sultana Sultans (Hesperia, CA) and the visiting Burroughs Burros (Ridgecrest, CA), observed Sultana's softball team notch a victory over Burroughs by a final score of 19-1.

The Sultans (15-7) will now prepare for their bout against Oak Hills (Hesperia, CA). The Bulldogs go into the Mojave River bout with a 8-8 record. In their last bout, Oak Hills gained a win over Apple Valley (Apple Valley, CA), 13-2, in a league bout.

Coming up next, the Burros encounter the Hesperia Scorpions (Hesperia, CA) in a Mojave River outing, on Tuesday, April 22. Burroughs will attempt to move on its 5-13 season record. The Scorpions come into the outing with a 5-15 record after their 18-2 league loss to Serrano (Phelan, CA).
