The Marshall Cardinals softball team scored 6 runs and held the host Cambridge Bluejays to 2 in the Cardinals league win on Thursday.

The Cardinals now possess a 6-4 record. They put it on the line next when they host Belleville for a Capitol - South battle on Tuesday, April 22. Marshall will confront a Wildcats team coming off a 4-0 league loss to Wisconsin Heights (Mazomanie, WI). The Wildcats record now stands at 1-6.

With the loss, Cambridge moves to 2-5 on the season. The Bluejays travel to Fort Atkinson (Fort Atkinson, WI) to confront the Blackhawks in a non-league battle on Monday, April 21.
