Nansemond-Suffolk Academy Saints (Suffolk, VA) supporters left the game thrilled Thursday as they saw their softball squad topple the host Cape Henry Collegiate Dolphins (Virginia Beach, VA), 18-0 in a league game.
With the triumph, Nansemond-Suffolk Academy improves its record to 10-4 on the year. The Saints travel to Brunswick Academy (Lawrenceville, VA) to play the Vikings in a non-league game on Thursday, April 24. The Vikings enter the game with a record of 11-3.
The Dolphins now hold a 7-3 record. They play next when they travel to Norfolk Academy for a Tidewater Independent game on Tuesday, April 22. Cape Henry Collegiate will play a Bulldogs squad coming off a 10-6 league win over Norfolk Christian (Norfolk, VA). The Bulldogs record now stands at 5-5.
