North Carolina High School Softball - Cedar Ridge sneaks past Orange

April 17, 2025: Hillsborough, NC 27278

In Thursday's league match, the visiting Cedar Ridge Fighting Red Wolves softball team scored a tight 5-4 win over the Orange Panthers.

The Fighting Red Wolves (12-5) will now prepare for their match against Williams (Burlington, NC). The Bulldogs come into the Central 3A match with a 4-12 record. In their last match, Williams was nipped by Southern Alamance (Graham, NC), 18-1, in a league match.

In their next game, the Panthers confront the Western Alamance Warriors (Elon, NC) in a Central 3A match, on Tuesday, April 22. Orange will attempt to better on its 7-7 season record. The Warriors come into the match with a 9-7 record after their 6-4 league loss to Eastern Alamance (Mebane, NC).
