New Mexico High School Softball - Cobre bounces Hot Springs

The Cobre Indians softball team scored 17 runs and held the visiting Hot Springs Tigers to 1 in the Indians league win on Thursday.

The Indians now sport a 11-6 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Socorro for a 3A District 3 battle on Saturday, April 19. Cobre will confront a Warriors team coming off a 10-0 league loss to Tularosa (Tularosa, NM). The Warriors record now stands at 5-14.

With the loss, Hot Springs moves to 5-14 on the season. The Tigers travel to Hatch Valley (Hatch, NM) to confront the Bears in a 3A District 3 battle on Saturday, April 19. The Bears come into the battle with a record of 5-10. Hatch Valley lost 15-0 in their recent league battle against Tularosa (Tularosa, NM)
