Conway Wampus Cats (Conway, AR) supporters left the game thrilled Thursday as they saw their softball squad topple the host Jonesboro Hurricane (Jonesboro, AR), 11-1 in a league game.

With the triumph, Conway improves its record to 11-5 on the year. The Wampus Cats host Central (Little Rock, AR) to face the Tigers in a 6A Central game on Tuesday, April 22. The Tigers enter the game with a record of 13-6.

The Hurricane now hold a 3-10 record. They play next when they travel to Paragould for a non-league game on Monday, April 21. Jonesboro will face a Rams squad coming off a 9-7 league loss to Marion (Marion, AR). The Rams record now stands at 5-10.
