The crowd at Thursday's league bout between the East Rowan Mustangs (Salisbury, NC) and the visiting Lake Norman Charter Knights (Huntersville, NC), observed East Rowan's softball team notch a victory over Lake Norman Charter by a final score of 9-0.

The Mustangs (17-2) will now prepare for their bout against Lake Norman Charter (Huntersville, NC). The Knights go into the South Piedmont 3A bout with a 5-9 record. In their last bout, Lake Norman Charter was routed by Central Cabarrus (Concord, NC), 13-1, in a league bout.

In their next game, the Knights battle the East Rowan Mustangs (Salisbury, NC) in a South Piedmont 3A bout, on Thursday, April 17. Lake Norman Charter will attempt to better on its 5-11 season record. The Mustangs go into the bout with a 15-2 record after their 6-0 league win over South Rowan (China Grove, NC).
