The Franklin Pierce Cardinals overwhelmed the visiting Foss Falcons softball squad by a count of 23-3 in Thursday's league challenge.
Next, the Cardinals meet the Cascade Christian Cougars (Puyallup, WA) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, April 19. Franklin Pierce will attempt to upgrade on its 7-0 season record. The Cougars go into the challenge with a 2-4 record after their 6-3 non-league loss to Bishop Blanchet (Seattle, WA).
The Falcons (1-7) will now prepare for their challenge against Steilacoom (Steilacoom, WA). The Sentinels go into the 2A South Puget Sound challenge with a 1-10 record. In their last challenge, Steilacoom was routed by Fife (Fife, WA), 18-0, in a league challenge.
