California High School Softball - Pittsburg bested by Freedom

The Freedom Falcons triumphed over the host Pittsburg Pirates softball squad by a count of 9-1 in Thursday's league challenge.

Next, the Falcons meet the Antioch Panthers (Antioch, CA) in a Bay Valley challenge, on Tuesday, April 22. Freedom will attempt to upgrade on its 3-7 season record. The Panthers enter the challenge with a 2-9 record after their 9-0 league loss to Liberty (Brentwood, CA).

The Pirates (1-11) will now prepare for their challenge against Heritage (Brentwood, CA). The Patriots enter the Bay Valley challenge with a 10-6 record. In their last challenge, Heritage overcame Deer Valley (Antioch, CA), 12-0, in a league challenge.
