Hazel Green Trojans (Hazel Green, AL) backers left the game pleased Thursday as they saw their softball squad thwart the visiting Sparkman Senators (Harvest, AL), 13-3 in a non-league game.

With the triumph, Hazel Green upgrades its record to 20-11 on the year. The Trojans host Thompson (Alabaster, AL) to play the Warriors in a non-league game on Friday, April 18. The Warriors enter the game with a record of 32-3. Thompson won 10-0 in their recent non-league game against Hillcrest (Tuscaloosa, AL)

The Senators now own a 31-10 record. They play next when they travel to Brookwood for a non-league game on Friday, April 18. Sparkman will play a Panthers squad coming off a 5-0 non-league loss to American Christian Academy (Tuscaloosa, AL). The Panthers record now stands at 30-12.
