In Thursday's league test, the Woodland Regional Hawks (Beacon Falls, CT) softball squad overwhelmed the visiting Holy Cross Crusaders (Waterbury, CT), by a tally of 6-0.

Next, the Hawks clash with the Torrington Raiders (Torrington, CT) in a Naugatuck Valley - Brass test, on Monday, April 21. Woodland Regional will attempt to advance on its 7-0 season record. The Raiders go into the test with a 4-2 record after their 14-0 league win over Waterbury Career Academy (Waterbury, CT).

The Crusaders (4-3) will now prepare for their test against Oxford (Oxford, CT). The Wolverines go into the Naugatuck Valley - Brass test with a 2-0 record. In their last test, Oxford held off Crosby (Waterbury, CT), 14-1, in a league test.
