The Woodmont Wildcats triumphed over the host J.L. Mann Patriots softball squad by a count of 14-0 in Thursday's league challenge.
Next, the Wildcats meet the T.L. Hanna Yellow Jackets (Anderson, SC) in a AAAAA Region 1 challenge, on Tuesday, April 22. Woodmont will attempt to upgrade on its 15-5 season record.
The Patriots (0-14) will now prepare for their challenge against Woodruff (Woodruff, SC). The Wolverines enter the non-league challenge with a 9-6 record. In their last challenge, Woodruff overcame Broome (Spartanburg, SC), 4-2, in a non-league challenge.
