The Zion-Benton Zee-Bees softball team scored 20 runs and held the host Lake Forest Scouts to 2 in the Zee-Bees league win on Thursday.

The Zee-Bees now possess a 4-2 record. They put it on the line next when they host Libertyville for a North Suburban battle on Monday, April 21. Zion-Benton will confront a Wildcats team coming off a 6-4 non-league win over St. Charles East (St. Charles, IL). The Wildcats record now stands at 8-4.

With the loss, Lake Forest moves to 1-7 on the season. The Scouts host Grayslake North (Grayslake, IL) to confront the Knights in a non-league battle on Saturday, April 19. The Knights come into the battle with a record of 10-3. Grayslake North won 20-0 in their recent league battle against Round Lake (Round Lake, IL)
