Michigan High School Softball - Mt. Pleasant bounces Lapeer

April 17, 2025: Lapeer, MI 48446

The crowd at Thursday's non-league bout between the Mt. Pleasant Oilers (Mt. Pleasant, MI) and the host Lapeer Lightning (Lapeer, MI), observed Mt. Pleasant's softball team prevail over Lapeer by a tally of 12-4.

The Oilers (3-3) will now prepare for their bout against Powers Catholic (Flint, MI). The Chargers go into the Saginaw Valley bout with a 1-1 record. In their last bout, Powers Catholic knocked off Lapeer (Lapeer, MI), 12-6, in a non-league bout.

In their next game, the Lightning clash with the Midland Chemics (Midland, MI) in a non-league bout, on Monday, April 21. Lapeer will attempt to advance on its 0-2 season record. The Chemics go into the bout with a 2-4 record after their 6-1 league loss to Grand Blanc (Grand Blanc, MI).
