In Thursday's league match, the visiting Monument Mountain Spartans softball team scored a tight 9-2 win over the Lee Wildcats.

The Spartans (2-0) will now prepare for their match against Drury (North Adams, MA). The Blue Devils come into the Berkshire County match with a 1-4 record. In their last match, Drury nipped McCann Tech (North Adams, MA), 11-4, in a non-league match.

In their next game, the Wildcats confront the Mount Greylock Regional Mounties (Williamstown, MA) in a non-league match, on Friday, April 18. Lee will attempt to better on its 2-4 season record. The Mounties come into the match with a 1-4 record after their 12-7 league loss to Taconic (Pittsfield, MA).
